TEDxNJLibraries will be held on Friday May 7th, 2010 in Princeton, NJ at the Princeton Public Library. The planning committee is hard at work lining up speakers and selecting TED videos for viewing. Our selected theme is Culture and Community.  We know this will be an exciting day of great ideas and stimulating conversations.

We have been licensed under the name of TEDxNJLibraries as our event is being hosted by the  Princeton Public Library and sponsored by the New Jersey State Library, South Jersey Regional Library Cooperative and Central Jersey Regional Library Cooperative and the bloggers of Library Garden.

TEDxNJLibraries is, however, open to anyone at all and is not intended to be only for librarians. In fact, our hope is to have representation at our event of people from all walks of life.  Our speakers will have definitely have a wide array of backgrounds and their talks will cover all aspects of how the relationship between culture and community.
